I treat your pup like my own!
Pet care experience
I have grown up with many dogs my entire life. Therefore, I have a lot of experience with different breeds and sizes (e.g., Newfoundland, Great Dane, Miniature Schnauzer, Vizsla, Whippet, Italian Spinone, etc.). I have been a pet sitter for many dogs, including mixed breeds, Labradors, doodles, hounds, etc. I currently have two high-energy dogs - a Catahoula and Australian cattle dog mix, - so I am used to active puppies. I love watching dogs, and I use positive reinforcement when training. If you want, I can also do mini-training sessions for basic commands (working on sit, down, stay, etc.)! I have experience with ABA therapy, and I utilize many of the same techniques with dogs. I truly love every dog like they are my own, and I am excited to meet yours! I have a fenced-in yard that makes it very safe for the dogs. I also have 2 dogs who love playing with other dogs, so they will definitely be able to release a lot of energy! I am currently doing Rover full time, so I have a ton of time to play with the puppies! We really plan our schedule around our dogs, and we try to bring them as many places with us as we can if okay with you. They are never left alone for more than 4 hours, and that is only when I have to run errands (e.g., grocery shopping or doctor’s appointment). If you are booking a boarding visit, I would prefer your dog is crate trained/able to be put in a play pen. It is important for me to separate dogs during mealtimes/when they get too hyper. Thank you!! NOTE: If I am ever marked as unavailable for a desired day, reach out, and I might have some flexibility in my schedule. (: I always read the dog's body language to make sure they are comfortable. If I notice a dog getting stressed or overwhelmed, I will give them a break, so they can calm down and feel more comfortable. I never leave the dogs outside alone. I am also certified in dog first aid/CPR, so you can feel a peace of mind if anything were to happen.
Reviews
Cheyanne took wonderful care of our active 2-year-old German Shepherd mix while we were out of town for a night. It is clear that she really understands dogs. Our pup took to her immediately, and returned home happy and well-exercised. Communication was clear, responsive, and extremely professional. We loved the photo updates. Cheyanne will be the first person we call the next time we need a dogsitter. 100% recommend!
Hollis has been to day care at Cheyanne’s many times now, and we are grateful that Hollis has such a fun place to play! We appreciate the pictures and updates about Hollis’ day that Cheyanne shares - including the play time Hollis is able to get with Cheyanne’s pups.
Max had a great first day of daycare with Cheyanne and her pups. Leading up to this stay, Cheyanne was very friendly, quick to respond, answered all my questions, and seemed very knowledgeable. She sent some cute photos, and Max came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely book again!
Cheyanne did an amazing job watching our 125 pound Leonberger for a week. He had a wonderful time, and we got cute photo updates every day. We highly recommend her for boarding and daycare, and can’t wait for our pup to stay with Cheyanne again soon!

I have a fenced in yard and 2 beautiful pups. I always treat any dog staying with me as I do my own. I want them to stay on the same routine as they do at home. And if staying the night, your pup can choose to sleep wherever they want. Your pup must be okay around children as I have a baby.

Information Cheyanne H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there are any specific behaviors your dog does in the home, so I can be prepared! I have experienced many problem behaviors, and I am comfortable working with them - especially if I know ahead of time.
A typical day
We typically just hang out and play fetch in the backyard plus cuddle on the couch! Depending on the day, we do love to go on hikes at East or West Rock park if possible, and sometimes go to our family's pool in the summer. If we do go to the pool, the dogs typically do not come in the water, but the area is completely fenced in with a lot of room to play! We sometimes like to go a large fenced-in field to play fetch as well, which my dogs absolutely love. Otherwise, we play a lot in the backyard, and I have lots of dog puzzles/interactive toys to occupy everyone during any downtime.

I am currently working as a Rover sitter full time. So I am home almost 100% of the time. The only time I wouldn’t be home is if I have an appointment or have to run a quick errand.
