Pet care experience
I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, from a 120 pound lab to a 30 pound border collie. I’ve worked in pet care since I was 13, providing the services like pet-sitting, dog-walking and puppy play-dates. I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society which gave me the knowledge to handle a variety of situations and deescalate aggressive behavior. I’m used to dogs of all different temperaments and will interact with them in whatever way makes them most comfortable. No stranger to cuddle bugs and cool cats - your dog will receive every ounce of my excitement and attention. I'm looking forward to spending time with your dog :)

Cheyanne grew up alongside her dog. Even as a toddler, she paid attention to our dog, feeding him treats. So needless to say she loves dogs! She is very responsible and will make sure that any dog she cares for will be properly cared for and loved.

I have a dog with epilepsy and am familiar with administering medication. My experience volunteering with the Humane Society gave me the tools and skills I need to handle a variety of puppy personalities and knowledge of canine CPR; most importantly, it gave me experience in reading dog behavior. I know when your baby needs extra snuggles, play-time, or a calming presence while they maintain their space.

Please let me know the levels to which your dog is socialized and what may make them nervous or uncomfortable. If your dog has unique special needs or may be aggressive towards strangers, I require a meeting in-person to ensure I know how to properly handle and care for your baby.
A typical day
I have a rotation of dog toys in my own car and have no problem finding the closest dog park! Extra active dogs will find an energetic running buddy, while more reactive and older pups will enjoy gentle pets and activities appropriate to their age/energy levels.

Availability
I work from home so there are plenty of snuggles, pets, and walks to go around! I have my bachelors of science in biology and currently work from home, so my schedule is open and flexible.
