Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with tons of cats, dogs, and other animals around me! I have two cats of my own right now, one of whom is mildly disabled. I’ve helped take care of community cats and dogs and volunteered at shelters in Hawaii (my hometown) and DC. I’ve administered oral meds, nursed bottle babies, and know how to care for disabled pets.
Reviews
Cheyanne was responsive and so sweet to our little kitty girl!
So caring, communicative, and loving towards our cat!
Cheyanne was SO amazing! It’s so nice to leave your pet with someone you can tell loves them just as much as you do. I got a detailed report and pictures everyday. Cheyanne is my new go-to sitter and I can’t recommend her enough!
Cheyanne did a great job of taking care of my cat, Simon. He’s very attached to me, so it made me happy to see him gravitate towards her so quickly. She scooped his litter box during every visit, washed his food and water bowls, played with him, and even vacuumed the area around his litter box to keep it tidy. She is very professional and I will be hiring Cheyanne again!

Information Cheyanne C. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate detailed care instructions, especially if your pet needs special accommodations or has behavioral issues. It is helpful for me to know things like what times your pet is usually fed, where I shouldn’t touch them, etc. For house sitting, I like to know what your expectations are in terms of how often I should be engaged with your pet, how much you expect me to physically be in your home, update frequency, etc.
A typical day
I enjoy physical activity and am more than happy to stimulate your dog mentally and physically via walks and fun games like fetch! We can explore new places around the neighborhood and play with other dogs at nearby dog parks. The same goes for kitties— we can play with their wand toys and lasers or just snuggle.

Availability
I work remotely full-time so my schedule is pretty flexible! I live in the DuPont Circle area and travel via public transit, so metro/bus stop-accessible locations would be best for me. I am available for house-sitting full-time. Regarding drop-in times, I would like some flexibility due to my full-time work and Rover schedule and the fact that I am reliant on public transportation. I work in time blocks: AM visits: 6-10am Afternoon visits: 11-3pm PM visits: 6-9pm I always ask about how firm these times are and can accommodate accordingly, but please keep this in mind when booking with me!
