Pet care experience
I have gained plenty of valuable experience in the animal care field over the past 6 years. I have experience as a Veterinary Technician, Zookeeper, and groomer! In addition, I have volunteered for many shelters and animal rescues and I am certified in Fear-Free handling and Animal Behavior and Welfare. I have an Associates degree in Biomedicine from USF. Animals are my passion and I truly love what I do.

I was updated with pictures and videos of my dog Bella. I really liked that, and I could see she was in good hands and having fun!
We’ve left our dog with Cheyanne twice now and both experiences have been great! Excellent communication and she sends constant pictures of our dog (which we love). We will continue to use her as long as she’s available.
Unfortunately, Cheyanne got called into work last minute and did not watch our dog, but rather someone else whose relationship to Cheyanne was not specified. I understand that work comes up, but the person who watched our dog did not do a good job. Upon arrival, he came out of the apartment, closed the front door, and did not offer to let us in. I had to ask to see the inside where my dog would be staying. The inside smelled of smoke. We received a photo of my dog's back, my dog sitting in her bag (which is where she goes when she's scared), and no other updates during the day. Upon pick-up, he mentioned he took her out once but wasn't sure if she went pee. All of her food had been eaten (we said only give her one scoop), and her bowl was missing from her bag (I noticed it was missing and had to go back and get it).

Our home is extremely pet friendly. Our dog, Cillo, is an ESA who loves other dogs! We are always sure to provide the best care possible to our pets, so he is fully vaccinated and protected against fleas, ticks, and heartworms. Our apartment is also “pet-proof” so we have moved any choking hazards or potentially dangerous household supplies.

It is important for me to know about the dog’s medical history, primary vet, diet, medications, and temperament. I require vaccination records prior to the apt! It is also important for them to be protected against zoonotic diseases and comfortable around other dogs since I have a dog as well. He is an ESA and is very friendly around other animals and people.
A typical day
I am a firm believer in allowing dogs to explore and interact with their environment in a fear free setting with a gentle approach. In our household, dogs are allowed on furniture and we even have a pull out couch dedicated for them to sleep and play on! Providing enrichment for dogs is incredibly important. I take dogs on frequent walks and trips to the dog park, as well as using training treats, interactive toys and bones for mental stimulation. That being said, I always go by the owner’s advice when it comes to their pets, and only provide play and enrichment that they are comfortable with!

Availability
My services include boarding, drop ins, doggy daycare, and dog walking! I am home Wed, Fri, and Sun! Dogs are allowed on furniture and we also have dog beds for them to enjoy! We have a dog park right outside the apartment for fenced in playtime! My significant other, Donovan, helps me accommodate longer stays outside of my typical availability. I recommend pet parents bring food, bowls, blankets/beds, and chew toys. I make an active effort to ensure your pups are comfortable and happy by providing enrichment and supervised playtime in our fenced in dog park! I can take them outside every 2-4 hours.
