We were very hesitant to use Rover initially due to boarding at a private home, which our pups have never done before. We came across Cheryl's profile and all her past reviews sounded very promising. She didn't disappoint! Cheryl was very communicative and responsive to our questions. She told us about silly stories that happened during the day, how much the pups ate, and how they were responding to her dogs. We got a number of photos while we were away. It was amazing and best of all, they were exhausted when we picked them up. Can't wait to use Cheryl's services again next time!

Cheryl was amazing! She made the process so easy. Great with communication along with sending me pictures, videos and updates on how my little Dixie was doing. Dixie had the best time and she was so happy and so loved while she was in Cheryl’s care. It gave me such piece of mind while I was gone. I will definitely be booking Cheryl again and I highly recommend you do too!

Cheryl was so accommodating and attentive to my pup Reeses! She checked in regularly and Reeses was cared for as though she was Cheryl's own pup. We will definitely spend the night again in the future!

DAYCARE & BOARDING: I typically accept up to 4 dogs per day for boarding and/or daycare. Drop-offs and pickups are from 7am – 7pm. I like to keep it simple for dog parents: all you need to bring is your dog and their food! I have extra dog beds throughout my home, bowls for filtered water in various places, and toys galore! I feed dogs separately in different areas of my home to keep the peace. Pups are allowed to sleep in my bed or hang out on my couch, watch tv, or hang in the 2nd living room where it is quieter. I keep clean dog beds (washed after every visitor) throughout my home so dogs can be wherever they would like! I also have covered crates if dogs prefer to fly solo and chill on their own. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can get their zoomies on and play fetch outside. Dogs here will have: ᴥ︎ comfortable home environment ᴥ︎ fresh filtered water ᴥ︎ dog treats ᴥ︎ enrichment puzzles ᴥ︎ lick mats ᴥ︎ beds, blankets, toys, & food/water bowls DROP INS: 30/60 minute reservations where I walk, feed, and play with your pup. IMPORTANT: ⚠︎ ︎I do not accommodate any dogs who exhibit any aggression to any breed, size, or age. ⚠︎ Females in heat will need to wear doggie pads. ⚠︎ Puppy rate is applied to any high energy breed, pup requiring special attention, medical care, or more frequent potty breaks. ⚠︎ If your dog is a nervous lil one, I will restrict water/food for one hour prior to pickup so your dog does not get car sick on your way home.

IMPORTANT: Proof of current and required vaccinations will be requested with your booking. This is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. Please be ready to take a photo of your dog's vaccinations to be added to our conversation. This is for the safety of all dogs that are in my home, and is required for long-stays and short stays. Thank you! :)

A typical day

Dogs are let out around 6:30am to potty, and then everyone is fed. They are let out to the backyard about every two hours to potty/play as well. Dogs typically spend the day on the various dog beds around the house or on the couches in my main living room. I have two large (and FULL) toy baskets that they can choose toys to play with. Often I will put on a dog centered show or something on the television for them. I also have various enrichment puzzles I can put your dogs food in as a treat and they can “play” with to get a snack. I am done with my day job around 3:30 each day, and then it’s COUCH CUDDLE & PLAY TIME where snuggles & fun happen! Around 7pm I start winding things down here and by 9pm all dogs are where they will be for the night and it’s lights out! TYPICAL BREEDS I WATCH: Small breeds ONLY such as Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Yorkshire Terrier, Shih Tzu, Chihuahua, Bichon Frise, Min Pin, Maltese, Mi-Ki, Japanese Chin, Havanese, Pugs, Papillon, Dachshund, West Highland Terriers, Mini American Eskimo, Biewer Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Alaskan Klee Kai, French Bulldog, Sheltie, Italian Greyhound, Beagles, Lhasa Apso, Doodle, Toy Poodle, Silky Terrier, Poodle, Scottish Terrier, Australian Terrier, Bolognese, Malti Poo, Pomeranian, Toy Fox Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, Cairn, Cavachon, Chi-Poo, Corgi.... basically smaller breeds as one of my dogs is only 3lbs!
