Home all day, fenced yard!
Pet care experience
Over the last 20 years I have taken in numerous rescue dogs. I love the challenge of each new personality! My favorites are Chow Chows, but I love all critters. I am home all day, fenced in yard, plenty of trees: none of my plants or tress are poisonous or dangerous. I love to explore new neighborhoods. I have cared for senior dogs and cats, given medication. Love to brush and play as much as possible! Hiking the Portland Parks is a favorite pastime for me and my pets. Hang out at Dog Parks if owner allows. I'm always alert to other pets and any safety issues. I live very close to Mt Tabor, Powell Butte, Berrydale park and the I- 5 bike path. My neighbors go on walks together frequently.

Cheryl did a super job with Giorgi. She was on time, left when she promised and he was well cared for the entire time. I had a level of trust with her in my home that I really appreciated. Her love for animals is obvious as soon as you meet her; she was so gentle and open with G. I will definitely ask Cheryl to help us out again. Note-- this is a rescue dog and not great with strangers so that speaks volumes about Cheryl :)
Cheryl has demonstrated a very strong and healthy connection with the animals in her care. Cheryl has shown and practice great caregiving skills and socialization with her animals while using correct and timely safety procedures. Cheryl knows each animals’ specific needs by observing and assessing them creating and implementing a plan for that animal, she also displays compassion, giving each animal the care praise and exercise it may need. Cheryl shows a sense of pride in her work, and loves her work with the animals; if all caregiver were like Cheryl, their animals would be the happiest, most balanced Pets among them all. Cheryl is my neighbor and faithfully walks her dog at least twice a day. She is an advocate for pets and stray cats and would be a great caregiver for your dog.
