Pet care experience
Offering reptile, small animal, bird, and plant sitting as well!!!! As an owner and lover of exotic animals and more plants than I can count, I understand how difficult travelling can be. Full disclosure (as honesty is the best policy), I’m still learning about plants, but I see no reason your plant won’t continue to thrive with the correct instructions from you. I’ve worked with animals of all kinds since I was a kid. Friends and family often call me for babysitting or pet care advice. Also volunteered in pet and wildlife rescues, worked in exotic pet stores, reptile removers, and am knowledgeable on pet CPR. I aspire to be a dog trainer and enjoy giving your pets the freedom they enjoy while keeping up with their regular home training routines.
Reviews
Max and Subie had a great time with Cheryl. Subie is an old dog who can be cranky with others, but Cheryl is able to socialize her and also provide her the space she needs. Max on the other hand is young and super energetic, he's not only received all the exercise and care he needs but has also benefitted from being properly socialized and has really settled in with other dogs. Subie has done multiple stays with Cheryl and Max had a successful first boarding experience of a week's duration. Cheryl herself is very professional to deal with - clear and promp lt in her communication, easy to coordinate pickups and drop offs with.
It was really good experience with Cheryl. She did amazing with my girl. She sent photos and videos all the day. Thank you :)
Cheryl dropped in to look after our dogs when we had a last-minute event. While she didn’t say so, I think she moved around plans to help us, and we’re very grateful. She ensured the dogs had a good walk and dinner in the evening while we were out, and got our younger dog settled for a rest. Thank you, Cheryl!
Cheryl has been the best! My 10 month old, 80 pound shepherd/lab puppy is very energetic and a lot to handle but she’s done wonderful with him. He has some anxiety with new people but Cheryl was able to very quickly get him to trust her. Lots of picture and video updates, I felt so good knowing my dog was in her care! I would recommend Cheryl for anyone looking to find a dog walker/sitter

When at your home, we will follow your strict (or not so strict), training routine to ensure your pet feels safe and happy in their own home. At my home, I enjoy structure. I’m not a military Sargent, but I will gently and patiently enforce that all pets stay a safe distance from human food. They will be allowed on furniture (unless requested otherwise), however I do prefer to enforce that they only enter the bed or couch when asked to come up. And they will be asked ❤️ My yard is HUGE but needs a lot of work, fence repairs etc. and we live a block away from a great dog park. And when the yard is all fixed up, lots and lots of outdoor time to be had.

Information Cheryl M. would like to know about your pet
I would first need to know that your pet has a clean bill of health, for my safety and other pets in my home. Secondly, if your pet has any allergies, or tiggers such as food aggression, or isn’t good with kids or cats etc. And don’t forget to share with me what they love, ie their favourite treats, where they love being scratched, and other cute quirks I should know about.
A typical day
Lots of hikes and some urban exploring. Maybe check out a different dog park for every visit. In the summer I enjoy bike rides, if your dog is too old, too sick, or too little that’s understandable. But if they’re fit to run along side, and you’re comfortable with it, I can teach them to run along side with me, leashed and away from cars of course.
