(7/19/19)... Just starting out being a Rover sitter. I am beginning with only one client at a time but if that client has more than one dog...that is fine. I love animals and have rescued every dog/cat I have had. I even help save cottontail bunnies, birds that can't quite fly yet if they happen to wander into my area, etc. My backyard is dog safe with no poisonous plants growing anywhere. I also pick up dog waste daily to keep my two dogs from stepping in it when then are out running around. There are no dangerous dog toys in my home...my dogs only get nylabones. They do not get human food except for bananas, baby carrots, sometimes pumpkin which is good for them, and of course they love their ice cubes. I work from home typing for doctors a few hours a day so I am home all day/night except for an occasional errand. I have alot of flexibility and spend a good amount of time throughout the day outside with the dogs. I do not leave them unattended while they are outside. If it is rainy or cold, I watch thru the window and they come in right after going potty. I have two huge shade trees covering most of the backyard so my dogs are hardly ever in the hot direct sun. My dogs know nothing but LOVE. Dogs are like infants and depend on us 24/7 their entire life. They love unconditionally and are truly a blessing to know. I have alot of experience with oral and liquid medications. If your dog needs and injection, I only need to be shown how to do it and I would be comfortable giving the medication.
