Hey there. I signed up for Rover basically to have new experiences while offering, what I believe to be above average care. I have been volunteering at the Humane Society since 4/2016 where I started in the wildlife division and then transferring to dogs in 2017. I have been exposed to many breeds, temperaments, issues. Animals are for sure my passion. If I can make a difference in comforting your best friend while you are away then that would be a phenomenal day. Also, I understand that not only can it be stressful for the pet, but it is important that the home owner have peace of mind knowing that their most precious environment is being entrusted to a respectful adult. I am also willing and able to travel to an out of state destination. Like vacation homes in WY, MT, CO. Or places in CA. I have a great job that pays the bills, so this is more to follow my passion of animals and earn a little extra spending money. My schedule varies every month. So, sometimes I can be flexible with dates, other times I can not. Also, I do not want this to replace my volunteering work, because that is very important to me. It will be a balance to make time for all but I am going to try it out. Any questions you may have, please do not hesitate to ask. Possibly open to care for other pets besides dogs and cats also. PS For a unique opportunity to sit in a vacation home anywhere in a mountain type setting environment , please inquire if my days are blocked. I may be able to rearrange schedule.
