Welcome! I am an extremely knowledgeable pet care provider with almost thirty years of experience as a previous Veterinary Technician and Center Manager of a large, national boarding, grooming, doggy daycamp and training facility. I now spend most of my days pampering pets as a certified Pet Groomer. I am also a Fear-Free Professional. Anyone can call themselves an animal lover or watch your pet while you are away, but not everyone can provide the absolute best in quality care. I am familiar with health and emergency situations that can arise while away from home; I know how to reduce stress, look for warning signs and handle problems. I have dedicated my life to animals. My own pet family ranges from two adult cats and a (pink) Chihuahua. My previous pets have everything from miniature horses and pitbull terriers to rabbits, snakes and birds. I have always been very involved in pet rescue (specializing in hard to place breeds) in my home state of Connecticut. I now foster & volunteer for both Berkley Animal Shelter (Penny Paws) in Moncks Corner and Charleston Animal Shelter. My family has been raised with animals and has lots and lots of love to give. I work two days a week at The Pet Mahal in N. Charleston and have three well behaved and responsible daughters, between the ages of ten and sixteen. All guests must be non-animal aggressive and great with children. Either while staying with us or allowing me to come into your home, communication is welcomed.
