Pet care experience
I've always wanted a dog while growing up, but unfortunately my family could not have one. That led me to dog-sit for family friends on multiple occasions over the past decade. 2 years ago, our family got our first dog, Tobi. After becoming a dog owner, I realize how hard it is to trust others with my dog -- I would be looking for someone with my dog's best interest & someone who will truly love my dog potentially as much as I do. With that in mind, I will truly love your dog and take care of him/her like they are my own ◡̈ *update: I have 1 dog staying with me which is a 4 month old puppy that will eventually go home to my parents :)

Cherry has a natural talent working with dogs! Her calm and friendly nature put my dog at ease. My dog gets nervous and shy around new people, but when he saw Cherry, he took her in right away. I could tell he felt safe and well taken care of. Cherry went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and also me as well. From regular updates to personalized care, she made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy dog sitter!
ive known Cherry for 10+ years and in those 10+ years she has shown her love and passion for animals. Before Cherry got Tobi (her precious goldendoodle) she would come over my house multiple times a week to play with my golden retriever, Rocky. She would take him on walks, brush him, and most importantly shower him with kisses. I've never met anyone who loved and cared for a pet that was not theres. When she told me about her getting Tobi, I knew for a fact that he would have the best life possible. She walks him multiple times a day daily, takes him to the park to play fetch (which he LOVES), grooms him and of course gives him all the basic necessities a dog has. Her love for animals is clearly evident through her actions and the glistening of her eyes when the topic of "pets" arise. I would 1000% trust her with my dogs and would have her watch my dogs if I were to ever go on vacation.

Depending on your family's home situation, I can be sure to provide a safe space for them, such as time in their own crate/bed/personal space, and also be sure to take them out frequently for play-time, training time or a nice long walk. I will also be sure to respect the privacy of your home and maintain the area that I use to be clean and presentable.

If they should not or cannot engage with other dogs, or if they have certain reactions to people/dogs/situations, please let me know! Is there anything you want me to work on with your dog? Anything for me to look out for? I'm not a professional dog trainer, but I can help reinforce some behaviors and teach them some tricks if you're interested!
A typical day
I love finding new trails or different parks to go to. When I lived in SoCal, I would take my dog to the beach for a nice long walk on the sand, or even to play fetch! I also enjoy taking my dog to very public places so they can be well socialized and work on their behavior. (I love training dogs, and have done so for my close friends with young puppies!)

Availability
I mostly work from home, so I am free to stop by to let your pup out for a potty break or to get some air. After work, I am also more than happy to take your dog on a walk or a trip to the park. I typically stay home during the weekends so I'm flexible for drop-ins or even early morning/late night walks.
