GSD Dog Mom & RN

Pet care experience

I am a registered nurse who was mom to my rescue Corgi mix Radar, for many years. I am now a new mom to a 4 1/2 month old working line German Shepherd. I grew up with having canine companions and am a firm believer that they are part of the family and should be treated as such. I am looking forward to providing fun and care to your fur baby when you are not home to do so. Special considerations to the working RN’s who spend long days away from home and need an extra hand. We understand the worry such longs days can cause and we want to help keep everyone happy and healthy! Thank you for taking the time to consider us and we look forward to meeting you and your four legged love!

Cherie was wonderful with our Bernese Yogi. I was so happy to receive daily pics and updates! I would not hesitate having Cherie look after her again!

Cherie is a very reliable and loving human who treats her dog as a true member of the family. I have entrusted her with my boxer in many situations and she was the first one I asked for help when I needed daytime care for him as a puppy. She is surely someone that can be trusted with the four legged member of your family.

Information Cherie K. would like to know about your pet

An initial meet and greet is preferred prior to having one on one contact with your beloved pet. And understanding of current training styles is also beneficial. I am currently utilizing a very positive, food motivated, and operant conditioning model with my personal GSD.

A typical day

I feel physical activity is equally as important as mental activity. Along with meeting your dogs physical needs with an outdoor walk, the utilization of brain and training games could also be fun!
