Hi there! My name is Cheri & I’m just getting started here on Rover. I’m a 34 year old single woman with no children and an open schedule. I’d love to have the opportunity to work with you, your family, and your pets. ☺️ A little about me: — I’m a former veterinary technician with 5+ years experience. I’m very comfortable with all things pet care— everything from basic grooming, handling, and body language interpretation to medication administration and special diets. — I’ve owned a dog every single day of my adult life and had a cat for 9 years before she passed away. My dog has had better health insurance than me since the day she was born. 😅 I care about her, a lot, and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. — I have a completely clean background. I don’t do drugs and I rarely drink. I’m a good, respectful person that I hope you’ll feel comfortable enough with that you can peacefully leave your loved ones & property in my care. 🩷 Please feel free to ask me anything and I hope to hear from some potential clients very soon. Cheri has past experience with pets. She worked at a vets office and learned a lot about animals while she was there. She made sure dogs that had surgery were well take. Car if. She is an avid dog lover and wants to open her own shelter or boarding someday. She has a big heart and will treat your pet like her own.
Cheri has helped watch my dog Olive for many many years and has always treated her like one of her own. She absolutely loves animals and has years of experience with both cats and dogs. She shows up on time, is responsible and trustworthy for sure! Cheri goes above and beyond and that’s a quality not many people have these days. I highly recommend her!
Cheri is a dependable, loving person who will take excellent care of your pet. She is one of those people that has the ability to really connect with animals. Definitely the best choice on Rover!!

If for some reason I don’t agree or it isn’t somehow possible for me, you will know and I will not provide service. My goal is to ensure you are completely comfortable with me taking care of your family member, especially in your own house. I will answer any & all questions honestly. I can’t provide immediate trust as it is earned through action, but I really hope I can persuade you to give me a chance. 🙂

Please be courteous enough to let me know if there are any behavioral issues I need to be aware of before the service. My safety is just as important to me as your pet’s is. Of course any medications and/or special needs should be disclosed as well. Thanks for your consideration!
A typical day
You know your pet best— tell me what they love! I’m more than willing to take your dog to the park (if allowed) or watch Netflix with them. Each dog is so individual that the experience will be tailored to that pet.

I currently have a set work schedule Friday-Monday evenings. I have no other commitments so it’s the perfect opportunity to pet more dogs & cats in my free time. ☺️
