My name is Cheri and I have many years caring for and loving dogs. My first dogs were Sarge and Daisy, both black Labradors and my best friends. Since then, I have always had a dog or two by my side. My daughter and I were members of a local 4-H Dog Club for 5 years, training and competing in obedience and showmanship with our chocolate Lab. Later we became deeply involved in raising puppies for the Guide Dogs for the Blind program. Throughout my life, starting with our family dog, through the present, and well into the future, I am a committed and caring dog owner and fan of all things DOG!

Cheri took great care of our Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We especially liked that Cheri took Josie for long walks on the Lake Sawyer trails near her house and even let Josie run by herself on our retractable leash. Cheri also has a huge galvanized fenced lot as part of her property to also use for play time and for potty breaks. Cheri was much more personable than our previous Rover choice, and not so as much of a person trying to take in as many dogs as they could. If your dog likes long trail walks (3-5 miles) with individual attention, this is your choice!
Kai was with Cheri for three weeks. He enjoyed amazing hikes and very specialized, loving care. This contributed to our trip being a success. We knew he was in good hands. I highly recommend Cheri.
Our dog was excited when we dropped him off and a happy dog when we picked him up the following day. Cheri has a great yard on the lake and a very large fenced property across the street for lots of play and exercise. He had a lot of fun and got along very well with Cheri’s sweet dog Kismet. Cheri kept us updated and sent photos during his stay. Would recommend Cheri if you are looking for a warm, caring and loving family and home to take care of your dog. We will use Cheri again. ?

My husband Jeff and and I have Kismet, our energetic 11 year old Labrador, who has no problem sharing her place with other dogs. Our cat, raised along side Kismet is mellow and generally not concerned about other dogs. Our home and property are fully fenced so your dog will be able to explore and run around in a safe environment. We also own a large fenced lot across the street where there is plenty of room for your dog to fetch balls, frisbees or just to run and play. We're on Lake Sawyer so your dog will also have ample opportunity to swim and play in the water. Also we are lucky to have miles of hiking trails just minutes away where I can take your furry friends on daily walks in the woods. Our home has everything to ensure that your dog has a safe, love filled, and calm or adventurous experience!
