I have an extensive back round in animal care. I have worked in pets stores, boarding facilities and vets offices. I was a dog groomer for 35 yrs. I currently volunteer at Second Chance Ranch, a shelter for senior dogs. I also volunteer and foster for Needy Paws Rescue. Now retired, I want to put my skills to further use and bring in a small income.

I learned a lot, from working with rescue, on how to safely keep a pet secured and free from flight. I will come to your home where your dog/cat is most comfortable. I will be sure to check that gates are secure before the pet goes out and stay outside with them. If I am walking your dog, I will be sure the leash and collar are secure.

I want to know if your pet has special needs, any medical conditions that need extra care and TLC. It would be beneficial to know if your pet walks well on a leash and whether it is reactive to dogs we may encounter along the way
A typical day
I love a good walk in the park on nice days. I have a resource of mental stimulation games to occupy your pet. These are especially good in bad weather.

I'm currently working part time, 2 days a week for 4-5 hours. I can be flexible with my schedule. I will be certain that your pet will be cared for daily and without conflict.
