I’m a newly retired Animal Control Officer with time on my hands and lots of experience with all types of animals! I used to pet sit for friends/ neighbors prior to the job. I especially love walking dogs for pet owners in Camarillo where I’ve lived for 18 years.

I have known Cheri j. For over 30 years. She has been taking care of other people's dog's horses cats and other animals for longer than that. She has been an animal control officer for over 32 years. She has recently retired from Ventura County animal services. She is now starting her new career as a pet sitter dogwalker. In my home I have 2 separate fenced yards, a dog run, and various sized crates. I can keep a dog up to 3 nights if its housebroken and gets along with my 2 friendly Aussies and a Chihuahua. If sitting at a clients home, I will limit it to Camarillo city/Santa Rosa Valley areas, so I can be close to home. I will stay with your pet from 8 pm- 8 am guaranteed, and check on them throughout the day.

I’m retired, but not sitting around. I’m able to walk dogs and occasionally pet sit around my schedule of agility training and horse riding. All of it is flexible.
