Through my work as an Animal Care Specialist with a local Humane Society, I have acquired experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals with complex behavioural and medical needs. I am certified in Pet First Aid, I have obtained my Fear Free Shelter Certification and I have completed a 12 month Positive Approach Canine Education, Canine Handling Skills and Behaviour Knowledge Program. I have received training and experience working with fearful, high arousal and reactive dogs and I continue to access ongoing opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge. An initial meet and greet prior to booking services is important, this will ensure we have an opportunity to build a strong foundation. It’s key that I understand each pet parents expectations as your furry friends comfort and success is my priority.
