Pet care experience
I worked in animal rescue for 15 years with various animals. My daughter does attend often with me. She is wonderful in helping "wear" out pets with play and walking. I do not board animals in my home. I am also very experienced with cats, caged critters and some other types of pets. I spend 30-60 minutes with the animal, providing food, water, play time, companionship, and walk for dogs that need it. Trips vary between $20 cats $25 dogs to $35 a day 1-2x day. Overnights usually start at $60. Major holidays are +$5/trip. Cheri has been taking care of our eight year old cat Xena every few months and sometimes more often, for about a week at a time, for about three years when we go out of town. Xena is a fickle kitty who does not get along with many humans but she adores Cheri. I highly recommend Cheri for caring for any creatures!

Cheri has been a petsitter for Siera Pacific Furbabies NorCal for several years. I would never be able to travel anywhere if it wasn't for her. At any given time we could have up to 20 cats within the rescue, and I trust her implicitly to handle anything that comes up. She has had to respond to a very old senior passing away, various types of medication needing to be given, frequent changes of litter boxes, keeping isolated cats separated from the general population, kittens, feeding different diets, and much more. One cat is friendly only to me and requires careful handling. Cheri ably handles it all. On occasion she also fosters kittens for me in her own home, some with special needs. Dog or cat, petsitting requires a responsible and caring person with a good working knowldge of animal behavior and health. Cheri is an excellent resource if you need temporary pet care.
