I have a passion for animals, big and small! I grew up with at least one or two dogs by my side for over 14 years. After college I spent a year working at a veterinarian clinic where I learned an enormous amount about animal health and behavior from preventative care to emergency preparations. During my time at the clinic I was provided many opportunities to care for pets while boarding or those who simply needed a daytime walk. When we adopted our family dog (black lab) she was a very nervous girl but with patience and persistence she is now the most playful and loving pup. We make trips to the dog park and spend plenty of time tossing around her favorite squeaky ball. I am also a regular volunteer for KC Pet Project practicing kennel enrichment, clicker training and playtime relief. A few additional notes about me: I do work Monday-Friday, 9-5. Also, I much prefer a drop-in style of sitting. For example, on a weekday I would stop by in the morning to walk, feed, etc. and then spend the evenings caring for your pet until bedtime. On the weekends, I would spend as much time as possible with your pet during the day/evening. However, I am pretty flexible so please don't hesitate to message me with any questions or to discuss details.
