I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to seniors, healthy to sick, hyper to mellow, and will care for yours just as I do my own. I understand their habits and communication styles, and they can feel my genuine care.

The dog whisperer! Chelsie has dog-sat for me several times and she's always been a wonderful, responsible, and loving caregiver. We've had our pup stay over at her home several times, and she's also done drop-in visits for us when we needed housesitting and care for both our dog and our cat. I especially appreciated that she sent us photos while we were out of town to let us know that our guy was doing okay. Chelsie is an active person, so she can handle pretty much any activity level, and if our 80 pound couch-potato had been up for a daily run, I know she wouldn't have minded. She has dogs and cats herself (and chickens and ducks... she lives on an urban farm!) so I feel very comfortable knowing that my babies are being not only looked after, but loved on while I am gone. Would definitely recommend.

I have a fenced back yard with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. I have 2 dogs at home and they get along well with others, but I can also keep pets separated if needed. I use positive reinforcement for good behavior, and have plenty of tricks to keep minds and bodies active or rested, depending on your pet's individual needs.

I'm comfortable with all sizes and breed types, but it helps me to know special needs or behaviors to prepare for. Let me know if your pet is nervous or scared of certain things, or any bad habits to watch out for, to prevent (like eating all the goose poop!).
A typical day
There are plenty of local open spaces to visit to play ball or chase geese, and I'm an avid runner to I could run with high-energy dogs if needed. I also have mental stimulus games for older dogs that want activity.

I am available most days and evenings for pet care. My home is spacious and pet-friendly already, and I'm active and flexible most days to drop in and spend time with your furry child.
