Hi, I’m Alex. While exploring my lifelong passion for pets, I stumbled upon Rover. I can't think of a better way to give love and attention to multiple dogs over a short period of time without changing my place of employment or working at a local shelter. I predominantly supervise the pets I look after but my wife, Chelsey, helps watch them for a few hours each night. We both have experience caring for pups. We live in the Foothill Green neighborhood which is very quiet, safe, and friendly. There are lots of nearby trails and local dog parks. Additionally, our house has a gigantic backyard with a privacy fence. Our home is pet-friendly with no harsh chemicals used when we clean. I am home each day until dusk. My wife comes home several hours before I leave for my quick night shift and returns by midnight. We provide 24/7 supervision and petcare in a non-institutionalized setting. I had Rottweilers throughout my entire childhood which gave me a deep level of affection for all canines. I love all breeds and am not picky about which type I sit. I have not worked with animals in a professional capacity. However, owning over half a dozen dogs throughout my life prepared me with patience and a thorough understanding of canines. When I’m not pet sitting, I am usually working or catching up on lost time with my father whom I recently reconnected with. My wife and I enjoy going on walks at the nearby parks and attending local sporting events. I’ll shower your pooch with lots of love, attention, and exercise. I can pick up on the personality of dogs and always treat them with respect and compassion. They have their own feelings and are more than just pets; they are companions.
