Pet care experience
After growing up in a household that couldn’t have dogs, in my later years I’ve dived in full force. I’ve taken care of a special needs dog, senior dogs, and I live with a roommate and her 7-year old lab that I care for often, as well as my own 1.5 year old male (neutered) collie mix. Both are friendly, but I will ask for a meet and greet first if your pup is staying with us.

Very responsive and friendly! We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in Chelsea's hands. She sent us pictures of our dogs and even brought in an 80lbs package of furniture that was delivered way earlier than anticipated.
Chelsea was wonderful with our dog. She is attentive, caring, and we were happy to have her in our home.

Our cat, Newton, loved Chelsea! Which is saying a lot because he normally runs and hides from strangers. He warmed up to her very quickly and she made sure to give him lots of love and attention while my husband and I were away on vacation. We will absolutely use her again in the future.

When sitting for your pet(s), I’d like to find out their enrichment needs so I can give them proper attention and care. This includes play time with their favorite toys, walks, or special treats/ activities. I also make sure to try and stick closely to the owners schedule for them: potty breaks, meal times, etc. In my home, I have a fenced in yard which provides ample space for playing/running.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I’d also like to be made aware of any behavioral or health issues. If there are additional animals in the house, please disclose this as well if you don’t have them included on your Rover profile as I will consider all animals in a household as being under my care. Thank you! In addition, if I am staying at your place for an extended period (more than 3 nights) I will need to bring my dog with me. We can have the dogs meet in advance to ensure compatibility.
A typical day
We could go for walks outside if needed, and I can also give them plenty of playtime indoors in between my 9-5 job if on a weekday. If they have a special place they like to go that is a few miles away, I will drive them there if the owner is okay with it! We can also play with any toys provided by the owner.

Availability
Weekday jobs preferred, but not mandatory! I work from home full time, which offers guaranteed 9-5 pet sitting, Monday through Friday. I am very flexible with fitting pet care into my schedule.
