Treating Your Dog Like Family
Pet care experience
I am a big animal lover especially when it comes to dogs. I've always had one in the house in varying breeds which makes me not intimidated by any animal breed. I currently have two fur babies that I adopted. They come with their quirks for sure but it has definitely made me a more patient pet owner. I've always taken care of family and friends animals while they were away and I would love to get back into it. I'm a military wife that takes care of our home so I would love to get out more and I think this would be a great way to do it. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, things they like, and anything you think is important to make sure your pet has the best experience.

I personally have a fenced in yard for my dogs which is very secure. We do a lot of our playing with in it. Outside of the yard they are always on leash. They listen when I call but we are close to a road and just don't want to take the chance. My dogs have access to the whole house when I'm there but they only have access to the laundry room while I'm gone. They are not crated but I do put their beds in an open crate because its like a cozy cave for them. Just let me know what routine your animal is use to and what they can and can't have access too. I know every pet owner is different because every animal is different.

If there are certain things your dog does not like. For example my dog does not like his back side touched and hates towels. Weird but I would never want to make your pet uncomfortable. The more I know the better off we both will be.
A typical day
Dogs are usually up early for food then its a bathroom break and back to bed for a few hours. Then I usually play ball or rope with them outside. Some days I give them a bone to occupy their time depending if it's a busier day for me. I try to get them a walk in every day around my neighborhood but on the weekends I try to take them to reservoir park. They usually take another nap or two. More eating and then we all get in our beds and relax the rest of the night.
