Pet care experience
I worked as a supervisor at a pet store for over 5 years and the best part of my day was being able to interact with all of the different animals that would come in. In those years, I had the opportunity to truly learn from professionals about different pet products, training, and food for cats and dogs. Along with working alongside animals, I grew up having dogs, cats, a horse, and even lizards. Taking care of animals has been a huge part of my life and continues to be with my boy, Finn, a half-siamese kitty.

Chelsea was wonderful. Since this was my first time leaving Callie alone for an extended period in a new apartment/new city, I was definitely a concerned pet parent. Callie immediately took to Chelsea on her pre-visit which isn’t usual. Chelsea was great at communicating through my trip and I came home to a very happy cat. I would definitely recommend her to others.
We love Chelsea. It was so easy to work with her. She was prompt for our meet and great, was confident and friendly. Communicated with me while I was out of town and of course most importantly Stone was well cared for. Thank you so much, will definitely ask Chelsea back again.

I have plenty of experience with crating animals and using gates. I currently have to use one in the hallway for my cat and my roommate’s cat because we have slowly been introducing them to each other. I also consistently clean out the litterbox, feed him measured food twice a day, and have a variety of toys to play with him. I have even trained him to walk on a leash so we also take walks! As for dogs, I am very aware and knowledgeable on potty schedules, crating, feeding times (and measuring the food if necessary), and playtime with them.

Working in the pet supply industry for so long, I know that a lot of dogs and cats have very specific diets, allergies, and/or need to take certain medications/supplements. It is important that I know all of these details ahead of time as well as any other specific needs they may have.
A typical day
Forest Park is in my neighborhood and a wonderful place to take dogs on walks and exercise! We would go for runs/walks there and throughout my neighborhood as well.

Availability
I work 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri but I am free most weekends! Depending on scheduling and needs, I am more than willing to housesit throughout the week too. :)
