Pet care experience
I've grown up with all kinds of pets and especially dogs and cats my whole life. I love to go on walks and play with my pets all of the time, and can't help but want to take care of as many pets as possible! I've had experience fostering dogs through the iResq pet rescue in Colorado Springs for half a year, and through the Elk Grove Animal Shelter in Elk Grove, CA. I have also boarded dogs/cats for friends and family. I’m a proud mama of a dog and 2 cats, and I have a young son who is a wonderful and enthusiastic helper. I am detailed oriented and will work to provide the best and safest experience for your pet. I am very flexible with scheduling, so if anything were to come up and a cancellation is needed, I’m very understanding. I live near quite a few parks and trails for walks/outdoor time. Chelsea confirmed my booking weeks ago but ghosted me on drop off day. Rang doorbell multiple times and waited for almost 30 minutes. A lady finally answered the door to tell me Chelsea is not even home and that she never mentioned a commitment to pet sit that day. She didn’t respond to any of my calls and messages. I understand that things happen but Chelsea did not even have the courtesy to reach out at all. I’m hoping that she is ok but she ruined my family’s day having to figure out the pet sitter situation last minute. I am leaving this review to warn others! We were traveling that morning to attend a wedding out of town. We ended up being late to the wedding because she did not honor the commitment she made with me. It was a very stressful situation she put us in. Until today, I have not heard from Chelsea at all. I’ve never dealt with a pet sitter as unprofessional who lacks communication skills as she is!

Within my own home I have multiple gates to set up separate spaces for the pets to move around. For cats there are plenty of cat towers and spaces where they can safely escape to and decompress. I have a fenced yard fully enclosed so that potty time is safe and secure.

Information Chelsea R. would like to know about your pet
I have no specific breed preferences. Before sitting for your fur baby I would like to know if they are potty trained or not so I can gauge how often they need to be taken outside and any potty precautions to take. I also need to know if they are aggressive towards other dogs/cats, and if they are male/female, neutered/spayed. Other than that, good to go!
A typical day
There are many beautiful parks in the area, trails and dog parks within a 5 minute drive from my location. I provide walks constantly for my dog and provide frequent and consistent potty breaks. I also love to spend one on one time with each pet to talk and play with them, interact and make sure all needs are met.

Availability
My schedule is almost always open first thing in the morning for dog walks. Friday through Sunday I have an open schedule for boarding, walks, in-home sitting and any other needs. I’m a student at Sac State, so as long as it does not conflict with my class schedule, I am readily available.
