Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Chelsea. I live in Clayton, NJ with my dog, Lucy (11 year old black lab) and chinchilla, Tinkerbell (12 years old). I’ve been a huge animal lover my whole life and have had and cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, chinchillas, bunnies, guinea pigs, gerbils, ducks, and chickens. Kids and animals have always been my two biggest passions. My day job is a Kindergarten teacher and now I am just looking for a fun weekend/summer gig doing something I genuinely love! I promise to love and care for your pets as if they are my own!

Unfortunately, my dog is very afraid of other animals so all visits would have to be in the home of the clients. Also, because I have my own fur babies, I cannot do overnights, but I can do several visits throughout the day/evening.

A typical day
I love staying active and being outside! I will happily take your dogs for walks, play fetch, and go outside and explore! My own dog is 11 years old so I have experience with gentle exercise for senior dogs as well!

Availability
I am a teacher, so during the school year, my availability is limited to weekends and evening hours, but over the summer I will have wide-open availability, and would love to help out with your pets!
