I grew up with cats and dogs in a pet loving family. I have 1 high energy dog (large mixed German Shepherd/cattle dog). I'm good with training skills and am very well read on dog training methods especially teaching them behaviors/skills early on and using positive reinforcement. I had my own dog walking business for 2.5 years in Chicago about 8 years ago before I graduated college, so I have experience with a variety of dog temperments and sizes. I can handle walking large and xl dogs and can usually walk 2 dogs at a time. Experience with puppies and senior dogs (including my own pets, family member's pets, and for clients). I absolutely LOVE animals and hanging with them, so you can trust your pet will get plenty of love from me. I'm also very PATIENT and can handle what some might consider "difficult" dogs (i.e. reactive or aggressive on leash, leash tuggers). I love cats too and will play with them or even walk them if you've trained them with that.

I cannot say enough great things about Chelsea ! I was so worried about leaving my two large dogs, because one is a little nervous and scared of everything. Chelsea is warm, caring, and so sweet to our pups. She took them for multiple walks, played with them, and was fantastic at sending pictures and updates, so I knew they were happy and doing well. Chelsea also left our home beautifully clean and orderly. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take care of our babies while we were out of town. We will definitely be asking Chelsea to stay with our pups again!

Chelsea provided great care for both my dog and cat. She understands dogs and is able to work with whatever quirks your pet may have. She has done walks, drop-ins and overnight for our dog. Therefore I am providing pet care in the mean time, temporarily. ***** I'm free any time and any day. Weekdays and weekends. I offer services within 8 mile range of my home in Barrington.
