Hi! We’re Chelsea and Mathias, and we don’t just love dogs, we “get” them too. We both have experience living and working with rescues and street dogs of all kinds. Our chocolate lab of 15.5 years recently left us, and though we aren’t ready to adopt a new fur baby, our entire family would be thrilled to welcome yours into our home and to join us for the forest adventures or gentle walks that we have come to cherish. Our children are compassionate and beyond gentle with all animals (no tail-pullers here!); your dog will be treasured from the moment they trot through our front door.

Chelsea and Mathias were awesome! They kept us update with great photos of Blue while we were out of town and you could tell that he was being loved and well cared for. We would definitely ask them to watch Blue again!

We have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks, and one of us will always be home to tend to your dog. We welcome your dog into our car for bigger forest explorations, or happily provide a simple sniff around the neighbourhood for those with impaired mobility.

Please let me know if your dog is nervous around children, or any other emotional “triggers” (ie streets with traffic, car rides, etc) that would hinder them from having the Best Day Ever with us :)
A typical day
I work from home and love taking extended breaks to explore the forests and parks of our surrounds with our more active furry friends, or slow it down with a chill sniff around the neighbourhood for our senior buddies.

As Mathias is a photographer with flexible schedule and Chelsea currently works from home, you never have to worry about your dog being crated or ignored! We enjoy an active lifestyle exploring the beautiful parks and forests of our surrounds, but always love a chance to slow it down for our senior friends :)
