Lifelong Passion for Animals
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Chelsea and I love animals...all animals! I am 31 years old and my family has been breading Doodle dogs for eleven years, so I have been involved in the care, rearing, and training of countless puppies and dogs. In addition, I grew up taking care of my own horses; feeding, training, and riding. Between childhood and the present day, I have owned and cared for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, horses, birds, snakes, bearded dragons, and fish. Currently, I am a dog trainer for Petsense with a flexible schedule and would love to branch out. I have had the pleasure of caring for all the animals at Petsense, including reptiles, small furry critters, fish, and cats. You can trust me to take wonderful care of your loved ones by giving them loving and individual attention while they are in my care. About three years ago, I lost my beloved Goldendoodle, Nema. Since then, I have moved to an apartment that does not allow dogs. While I get to enjoy the company of my two cats (Phoebe and Harley), my bearded dragon (Ginger), and my fish, I very much miss caring for my own dogs. However, I can still love on everyone else's wonderful fur babies through my family's breeding business, dog training at Petsense, and pet sitting and dog walking with Rover.
Reviews
Chelsea was wonderful with our dogs while we were away made us feel confident that our fur babies were in good hands.
Chelsea did a great job taking care of our pets and house! Would definitely recommend her to care for your pets and home.
Chelsea has been dog and puppy sitting for us for years! She is the first person we go to when we need a sitter, trainer, house sitter, ANYTHING, when we go out of town or need a little extra help. She also has taken very good care of our old maine coon kitty. ♥️ She has experience with our previous reptiles and birds, too! She really does it all (even babysitting our toddler from time to time in a crunch!). We really can’t recommend her ENOUGH!
Chelsea was so good with our golden doodle Riley. She was prompt for the times she needed come to our house. She spent a lot of time with Riley and played with her a lot. This was the first time leaving our dog at home overnight and for several days. We felt very comfortable with Chelsea taking care of her. We highly recommend Chelsea and would use her again .

I have cared for pets in many ways, as I have interacted with countless animals and countless dog breeds, ages, personalities, and needs. Growing up my dogs had several acres of land to run freely and were trained to stay on our property while out to potty and play. I have also cared for my own dogs in a fenced-in yard and using a crate. I have also cared for indoor and outdoor cats for many years of my life.
Information Chelsea M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of and be prepared for. This information can help me take better care of your very important family member. (Ex. medical conditions that require extra care, tendencies to look out for, favorite toys/treats.)
A typical day
It is important for dogs to let out pent-up energy and are physically and mentally stimulated. Dogs are also heavily led and motivated by their noses. Smelling everything around them is how they communicate with their surrounding. Therefore, while I am with your dog, I will engage your pet in his/her favorite activities (ex. fetch, tug-of-war, yard running) and allow for exploration while on walks.
