Hi there! I am a compassionate, friendly, and reliable individual who has loved animals since I was young - I always tell everyone that dogs and kids are my two favorite things :) I grew up with a wonderful Labrador Retriever mix (who sadly passed away last summer), thus I am fully aware of the duties, attention, and love required to care for a pup. Additionally, I have volunteered on-and-off at various animal shelters throughout college and my adult life. I currently volunteer once a week at Furry Friends Refuge in West Des Moines. I also live with the sweetest pit bull mix, who belongs to my roommate - in addition to snuggles and playtime, I have assisted, on occasion, with walking and feeding her when my roommate needs the help. I am comfortable with dogs (and cats) of all sizes and happy to walk and care for them in whatever way best serves their individual needs, as well as yours. I believe honesty and transparency are the keys to success, and I am happy to communicate with you as much as you would like before, during, and after. Trusting a stranger to look after your furry one can be difficult - I hope to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible. I look forward to working with you and your pet!
