Pet care experience
I have about 10 years of pet care experience from taking care of pets for family members and friends, volunteering at Sean Casey Animal Shelter in New York, and having my own pets since I was a kid. Currently, I have a 1 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix named Turbo and he’s a stubborn goofball! (He’s currently living in NYC while we settle into our new apartment until April 2024) I have experience in basic training and would provide that service for free! I also send frequent photo/video updates of your fur babies :)

We live in a great community that is very pet friendly! We have two dog parks that are a short walk away and one of them has fun obstacles for your pet to play on! There’s a golf course next to our community that has a beautiful walking path as well. We live on the 1st floor and our patio is fenced. I love to plan out a fun day, especially when the weather is nice! I like to think their stay is like a vacation with fun safe activities! Our pets are our babies, so I provide updates throughout the day and I send photos/videos every 3-4 hours from 7am-8pm. If I do have to run a short errand, I’m usually about 20 minutes away and gone for less than 3 hours. I leave them crated or in the hallway with the doggy gate with treats/water/toys/bed/blanket and have a camera pointed at them that I can watch through my phone.

A typical day
I love going to dog parks and having my pet, Turbo, or other pets chase me around, playing fetch and Tug-O-War. Sometimes I like to stimulate them mentally by hiding treats in a small blanket or a toy that’s meant to hide treats in for them to find! I also do short basic trainings with my pet, and if you would like me to be consistent with your pet’s training, please let me know☺️. One of my favorite activities to do with the pets that stay with me is taking a walk on the golf course towards the dog park with the obstacles!☺️

I am an apartment locator so my job is very flexible and it allows me to work from anywhere and choose my own schedule. My schedule may vary , but I try to update my calendar every week to give accurate availability ☺️
