Pet care experience
I've spent about 100 hours over the last five years studying dog behavior which led to success in behavior changes for my own pets and the pets of my clients. I have experience in pet ownership and fostering as well as pet sitting and dog walking. My studies in dog behavior and dog breeds have given me a unique perspective in how owner behavior can affect dog behavior and how to appropriately meet the needs of our pets. I’ve become quite good at assessing each pet’s energy level and and how to meet those needs whether it’s with walks, playing fetch, using toys or going on outings to trails and dog parks. I find that going on walks is probably my favorite part of caring for dogs.

I do not allow dogs to meet other animals while on walks. I personally have a large reactive dog and put certain measures in place with safety for all as my largest concern. If your dog is reactive, I totally get it. Just let me know their triggers ahead of time.
A typical day
Once we get the important things out of the way (potty, food, water), then we can stop and smell the roses. Or if it’s a drop in, we can play fetch and get in some belly rubs.

I am currently working part-time at a restaurant (about 3 days a week) and the schedule comes out the Wednesday prior. Please let me know the time windows I would be needed, and I’ll make it work.
