Pet care experience
I adopted my rescue pup 7.5 years ago; it's been her and I ever since! I have dog sat for friends over the last several years, one in part because I love to and two because it was really great prep for when I adopted my own. My dog and I have traveled from MT to NM and west to NV. I have learned so much from her subtle to expressive signals of what she needs while also being able to see it in other dogs. While traveling with your dog is not an option, my home will be an unfamiliar and new place so I will be able to accommodate their emotional and physical needs sooner having experienced a lot of new camping and home places with my own!

Sweet Chels and I have been friends going on 8 years and in that time I have seen, first hand, the crazy love she gives her fur babies! She always shows the same kind of love for my menagerie of four legged creatures. Animals are all about energy and it's quit obvious that they can sense her beautiful and gentle soul. I would trust her with my pets any day of the week.

I have a fenced yard with a lot of room to run around in. My own dog gets at least three 20-45min walks per day! I have a fair bit of balls and stuffed toys that my dog has yet to be interested in, even when other dogs have played with them. She is older (10.5yrs), so she doesn't play with puppies or very energetic dogs and is quite mellow when they stay here. If your dog is more energetic, their walks/runs will be separate to ensure that everyone gets what they need.

Please share any medications, behavioral (anxious around other dogs, especially on-leash), allergies and intolerances. How does separation anxiety show up and what has been successful in the past? Do they mark inside the home or chew furniture/belongings?
A typical day
Walks and/or jogs are daily, playing with them in my yard with toys (fetch, tug), if your dog loves puzzles-- I can engage them with treats in it. Please bring your dog's desired puzzle with you.

Availability
I work/study from home and am flexible with timing. A consistent schedule is what I am looking for due to studying. My own dog gets 3-5 walks/day-- 2 long, 1-3 short.
