I can't wait to spoil your pup!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Chelsea and I have loved dogs (and all animals for that matter) for as long as I can remember. I can't wait to spend some time playing with and caring for your pet while you're away! Your pet will always have my full attention and I will give you detailed updates each time I come to see them. I have lots of experience as I have been caring for animals since I was a kid. I grew up with dogs and cats and now have a dog of my own. I've owned and cared for a variety of small pets throughout my life, including hamsters and fish. I volunteer at the animal shelter and foster dogs off and on where I get experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I also have enjoyed training my own dog to help her work through separation anxiety and leash reactivity. I would love to watch your pet while you are away! I hope I can use my experiences to help your pet feel safe and comfortable throughout your trip. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I am available most weekdays or weekends for drop in visits or dog walks. I do my best to keep my calendar up to date and strive to be flexible. I have experience caring for many different kinds of pets. I always treat my clients pets like they are my own and do my best to provide detailed updates and photos so you know what your pet is up to while you are away.
Reviews
This was our first experience with Rover and we could not be happier! Chelsea was very professional. We did a meet and greet first where she took notes and brought up things we had not thought of. We felt very comfortable letting her come in while we were away. She always kept us up to date with her visits and sent us pictures of our pets every visit. Meowers, Hazel, and Marshie look forward to future visits!
Chelsea did an amazing job doing routine drop-in visits for our blind dog. Was patient while getting to know our pet and very reliable. She left a detailed review and plenty of pictures after each visit. Highly recommend!
Chelsea did an amazing job watching our dog! It put our minds at ease to know our dog was in such good hands. I would definitely use Chelsea again.
Chelsea dropped in on our dogs several times this weekend, they clearly enjoyed her company and all of the pets she gave them! She gave us regular updates with pictures so that we didn't worry about them while we were away. They had big smiles and wagging tails in every picture. ❤️? She was very respectful and courteous and made us feel comfortable leaving her with the house keys. We will definitely ask her to watch them again in the future and would highly recommend her.

Information Chelsea P. would like to know about your pet
I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and have been able to handle many behaviour issues. However, for both my safety and your pets, I ask that you please disclose any important information in advance. Are they an escape artist? Leash reactive? Weary of strangers? Do they have any medical issues I should know about? Let's discuss to make sure it's a good fit for both of us.
A typical day
A typical drop in visit or dog walk will include checking in on your pet, giving them fresh food and water, and having a potty break. I then like to go outside for either a nice walk or some play time in the yard. Your pets comfort is my top priority. Are they bouncing off the walls? We'll focus on exercise! Are they seeming really stressed? I'll encourage them to play to blow off some steam or I'll give them lots of love to help them calm down. Are they afraid of me? I have lots of patience and will do my best to help them feel at ease.
