Pet care experience
I recently moved to the Jenkintown area for grad school, and I'm originally from Baltimore. I have 2 family dogs (bichon and chihuahua) back in Baltimore. One of which is 15 and requires daily oral medication which I'm primarily responsible for when home. I have experience watching dogs and cats, but am more of a dog person. The largest breed I've watched and walked is a boxer (who also required daily medication). Most of my pet sitting experience is house/pet sitting. My general availability this semester is Mon: after 4pm, Tues: before noon, Wed: flexible, Thurs: after 3:30pm, Fri: flexible, weekends: flexible. I would like to know if the dog is fully housetrained, how the dog interacts with people and other dogs on walks, and the dog’s typical pace for walks (some dogs prefer to mosey while others could be runners).
A typical day
Depending on the activity level of the dog, it would be great to incorporate a little bit of jogging in our walk (especially the more to love fur babies!) I typically stick to walking in whatever neighbor the dog and family live in.
