I grew up in Vermont with dogs- a black lab and 2 standard poodles. I used to walk or run with them almost daily. The majority of our walks were off-leash, but also have some experience with training 'good' on leash walking behavior. In Mozambique I had my own dog- Zua- who was beloved by our neighborhood. I trained her in basic commands. Upon my departure she was adopted by a colleague of mine. I love playing with dogs- outside and off leash is best- and cuddling them at home. I have been living abroad for years, so don't have a dog of my own. My boyfriend and I live in a pet friendly apartment, with a welcoming dog community. I'm looking to get some much needed dog-time through rover.
