Having a golden retriever is tough in Manhattan. It’s important that he’s well-behaved in close-quarters and that he has plenty of mental and physical stimulation, beyond going on walks. Chelsea is an expert in all of these areas. Her experience as a professional trainer was immediately clear from our first meeting and initial interaction with our dog, Senna. She works with him on reinforcing good behaviour and advancing his training — while keeping him happily engaged the whole time. She does this in different settings around the neighborhood and in our home. She is also responsible and thoughtful — leaving detailed, informative notes about how the day went, which we appreciate and find very helpful. It’s clear that she is an expert and loves her work. We are grateful to have found Chelsea and will continue to work with her. We would confidently recommend her to any of our friends with dogs looking for a professional to help with anything from walking to sitting to advance training.

Chelsea is as animal-obsessed as you can get while still functioning in the human world. In the 10 years I've known her, she has always exhibited an admirable passion for animals. From her amazing (and really well-trained) little Japanese Chin, to the rescued shepherd mix whose anxieties Chelsea worked through with the utmost patience, Chelsea is always in tune to an animal's needs and what's best for them.
