Pet care experience
Hi there, my name's Chelsea! I'm 23 years old, born and raised in Burlingame, California. I cared for and walked my family dog (a pit bull/lab mix named sababa) every day for three years, and have house/pet sit for family friends in the past. I currently have a persian kitty named freya, and i have owned a rabbit, a leopard gecko, and several guinea pigs, so I would love to sit for your cats and smaller critters as well! I am currently studying psychology online at foothill college, which gives me lots of free time to spend with your critters. One of my favorite things to do with dogs is go to the park and play fetch. I have experience with caring for very young puppies and can administer oral medication to both cats and dogs if needed. I'm available for dog walking, drop in visits, and house/pet sitting. Thank you for considering me for your pet sitting needs!

Chelsea was a great babysitter for our dogs. We were in a bit of a jam as we had just moved to the area but had a vacation previously booked, so we were pretty nervous leaving our dogs for 10days. However, Chelsea made us feel very comfortable, she listened intently as I was explaining all of our normal do’s and don’t and was very receptive to our needs/suggestions. She updated us with pictures multiple times a day so we didn’t feel too far from our pups. If you are looking for a Rover employee to house sit, I would definitely suggest reaching out to Chelsea.
Chelsea was absolutely wonderful with our two high-stress, special needs dogs. She stayed in our home for 10 days while we visited our family on the East Coast. And, it was a relief to know that our dogs were being so well taken care of the entire time. Chelsea asked intuitive, thoughtful questions about our pups from the very first meet and greet. She also sent photos of our dogs throughout the week to keep us at ease and informed about how the pups were doing. She left the house very clean (which is hard to do, because our 17-year-old dog is essentially incontinent and refuses to use puppy pads). I would be happy (and very fortunate) to hire Chelsea again. Highly recommended!
