Pet care experience
I grew up caring for family dogs, which included Golden Retrievers (Maize + Lobo), a deaf Dalmatian (Comet), and a small, shaggy mutt named Tia. I welcomed many dogs into my home via Rover boarding for years while I was living in Seattle. I love getting to know different breeds and dog personalities, especially since I most definitely want my own pups someday.

Chelsea was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Our pup and her clicked right away and she seemed really content right away. Chelsea was very communicative and caring and we got lots of pictures of our baby while we were away. It made leaving her behind so much easier than it usually is. Would definitely rebook in future. Rocket had such a great time staying with Chelsea while I was out of town for work. Rocket came back energized and pooped! Chelsea took the cutest photos and shared them with me daily while I was away. Very grateful for her loving care of Rocket!

Before booking a stay, I prefer to do a Meet + Greet with you and your dog at your house to make sure we're all a good fit and your dog is comfortable with me being in their space. I'm happy to take my cues from you and your pets, depending on your or their needs. I'm a very respectful guest and prefer to keep things tidy. I love coming home to a clean house after a trip, and am happy to leave your home that way for you when you return. A typical day
A typical day depends on your pets, your home, and what you need from me! I am happy to provide walks and take them on their favorite local excursions, or play and cuddle with them at home. When I'm house sitting, I will be working remotely on my laptop - for myself and as a virtual assistant for a local author. Both schedules are not set and extremely flexible so I'm able to adapt as necessary to whatever your pets might need from me.

Availability
I primarily work from home as a writer and jewelry artist. I'm able to be very flexible with my work schedule. I love a good walk, run, or hike. If your dog has a lot of energy or needs a workout, I'm happy to accomodate... and if your dog just likes to snuggle and watch Netflix, I'm good at that, too!
