Loving dog mom/college student!
Pet care experience
I can't remember a time where I didn't have a dog in my life. I started caring for animals when I was about 14 years old. I grew up with dogs of my own as well as caring for my neighbor's dogs throughout the years growing up. I have experience with young pups all the way up to seniors. Neighbors, friends, and extended family have relied on me for pet care and I personally have two dogs of my own! My dogs are my children and my world. I treat every dog I come across the same exact way. They will get loads of love and attention from me! I am a full-time college student at CU but I am available during the summer months, and winter breaks. I will also continue to offer pet care on weekends throughout school. I only have one class on Friday mornings, so if you need pet care that day, let me know and we can work out a time! I live in a house and I have a safe, fenced in yard with lots of space for running around and fetch! I live with my husband and my two dogs. We do not have any children (except my fur babies of course!) I have a 6-year-old Blue Heeler and a 1-year-old Mini Aussie that are incredibly friendly and playful. My Mini Aussie is afraid of large dogs, typically over 75 lbs, so a 75 lb pup would be the largest I could care for in my home! I live about 8 minutes away from the Valmont dog park and I also have a walking trail in my neighborhood that I would be more than happy to walk your pup down! I really enjoy running so let me know if your pup would like to go on a run with me during their visit! During hot days, I get the kiddie pool out in the backyard and fill it up for my boys to cool off in. 🐾💦 During cold days, we like to play in the snow or snuggle up by the fire. ❄️☕️ I am currently a stay at home dog mom so I have lots of flexibility. I am home most of the day with my two fur babies so your dog will have lots of company and supervision. I usually leave the house every once in a while for 30 mins to an hour at a time just to grab coffee or some groceries, etc. I'm usually not gone long if I have to leave. If your pup has anxiety about being home alone, I will gladly take them with me! I have experience with senior pups, young puppies, and pups with disabilities! My Mini Aussie is deaf but doesn't let it stop him!

I also have a dog crate that your pup is more than welcome to use, if you typically use one in your home. It is always filled with soft blankets and toys. I typically let my two boys out for the bathroom about 5 times a day and I try to walk them twice daily when time allows. They also spend around 2-3 hours a day outside in the backyard sunbathing, chewing on sticks, or just running around. I also enjoy taking them to the Valmont dog park 2-3 times a week. In my client's home, I always leave their house as it was. If any messes are made, I always make sure to clean it up.

Information Chelsea E. would like to know about your pet
If your pup gets uncomfortable in certain situations or has any behavioral quirks, please let me know so I can be sure to keep him/her happy and feeling safe! Your pup's safety is my number one priority. I unfortunately cannot take in any dogs with aggression issues towards people or other dogs. I do have experience with separation anxiety however, so that is definitely doable. It would also be helpful to know if your dog(s) tend to guard their food, are prey-driven, or dislike car rides. I always feed the pups separately just to be on the safe side. Please make sure to have your emergency contact and veterinarian information updated as well. Thank you!
A typical day
I love to make sure your pups are getting as much stimulation as they need, or if they're a little more laid back I can accommodate that as well! I'd love to play with toys, take them on walks, go to one of the dog parks nearby, or just snuggle! The Goose Creek bike trail is right near my house and I enjoy walking my two boys down there as well as around my neighborhood. I love going on morning coffee runs and I enjoy taking my dogs with me, as well as any pups I have over at the time for a nice, windy car ride!
