Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life (from cats and dogs to turtles and fish and more). I worked as a vet tech and at a boarding facility (Uptown Hounds), so I can handle any temperament, size, or age of animal. I currently have three dogs, three fish, and a cat that are very spoiled and well taken care of. I absolutely love meeting new animals!

Chelsea was very responsive when I booked the drop-in and came a day early for a meet and greet. Ellie loved her! I loved getting pictures of her while I was at work. 😊

Every pet is unique and may require different attention. I will ask the owner how the pet normally reacts to strangers and act accordingly. Each fur baby deserves all the love and attention I can give in the amount of time I am with them. Any cleanup or other rules that need to be follow per the owners' request is never an issue.

I have worked with all breeds, sizes, and ages of animals. It is good to know the temperament, if they like cuddles, their favorite toys, and what their normal routine is. I am very aware of cues and will be able to adapt to any animal.
A typical day
Whatever the normal routine for the dog or cat is will be continued. If they enjoy playing with toys or chasing the ball, then we will focus on that. I have been to a lot of dog parks around Lexington and can take them to run and play with others. Walking around the neighborhood is always a great option for the dogs because it is something that is familiar to them and great exercise.

Availability
I work part time and am always running around Lexington somewhere. I have availability every day to walk dogs, check in on fur babies, and spoil them. I have a van, so transportation to dog parks, ect is not a problem either.
