I'll make sure they have fun

Pet care experience

I'm a future vet tech student with an eye for detail who wants to care for your pet when you aren't able to. I've been around vet clinics and done tons of pet sitting; rescuing animals is my passion! I love to explore and want to do it with a doggo in tow. I am able to foster kittens, and I strive to treat each animal as if it were my own. I adore my orange cat and think animals provide a very important therapeutic function for those of us who spend the time to get to know them. I have a dream to work on a sanctuary that cares for animals that are "no longer needed," providing love and a sense of purpose to every creature I meet.

We love Chelsea!! A few weeks ago, we did a ridiculous thing where we adopted two kittens and then promptly flew across the country the following weekend leaving them home alone. :-o When we left, we were still in the process of expanding their scope of domain in the house, trying to transition them to eat the same kind of food, and finalizing some persistent litter box issues... When Chelsea came to meet them, I felt truly overwhelmed and almost embarrassed to tell her what was going on. It seemed like leaving them was just the worst idea ever. She didn't hesitate - she listened carefully, asked a lot of thoughtful questions, and made a couple of really awesome suggestions. She told us how beautiful they were, petted them and held them, and demonstrated her ability to instantly win them over. While we were gone, she texted these anxious new kitten-parents sweet photos of them a every day to show us that they were learning new things and thriving! By the time we got home, they were ready for a domain expansion, and were eating the same food without a problem. We will definitely be hiring her again!

I’ve known Chelsie all her life. She has a very calm and respectful energy, good for pets and at the same time is apt at taking charge and being a alpha leader
