I have had experience with childhood dogs growing up and have created a very great respect and understanding for the role of a pet in someone's home. I have had experience watching a friend's Yorkie for 1-2 weeks whiles she was traveling abroad. The responsibilities included having the dog in my home and walking it twice a day. I also visit another friends dog a couple times a month and take it for walks, pick up after it and make sure it is fed and happy. Both experiences have been great and make me very well rounded as a sitter. I have most experience with medium to small dogs but grew up with German Shepards, Golden Retrievers and Labradors.
