I am a Ph.D. student working remotely on my dissertation and have found I work best when I spend time outside with friends! I have been a pet owner/caretaker of a wide variety of breeds and personalities my whole life but am currently without a furry companion. Because I travel frequently for work, I had to make the tough decision to find a more stable home for my last puppy pal Peanut (whom I raised for three years!). It was a happy ending for all though, as Peanut's last Rover sitters actually became his new parents! I truly miss having an animal in my life but playing with and caring for pets of friends and family since then has brought me so much joy! I have recently settled into the Port Angeles area and I would love the opportunity to walk, run or play with your pet when you don't have the time. I specialize in active animals and am more than willing to go the extra mile to meet your pet's needs. If I am visiting or staying overnight in your home for more than a few hours, I will likely take some time to read or write on my laptop but my work schedule is flexible and your pet would be my priority. I am comfortable administering medication, giving baths, checking for ticks, treating fleas, etc ... I've even given a subcutaneous antibiotic shot to a snake with a respiratory infection!
