Animal Lover w/ Vet Med Experience
Pet care experience
Hello my name is Chelsea. I am a surgical veterinary technician at a busy animal hospital and online college student studying to become a registered veterinary technician. I live in Fairfield PA with my boyfriend and pack of rescue animals. This includes a blind kitty named Hank, a little orange tabby cat named Phoebe, a pitbull mix named Harper, and a foxhound named Roger. I have a passion for helping pets in need and so they have all come to live with me through different but unfortunate circumstances. Work, volunteering at rescue, and caring for my own animals has made me comfortable giving medications, feeding animals, and bathing animals with various medical needs. Please reach out to me with any questions.

Chelsea was outstanding. She took care of our two big dogs for the weekend. The dogs loved all the attention they got. Like a “stay cation” for them. She sent pictures and texts throughout so we knew how our fur babies were doing. I’d definitely recommend Chelsea for at home care!
Chelsea was incredible. I have two senior, special needs rescue dogs on various medications, and I was so nervous to leave them for one week. Chelsea came over two times before hand to make sure both she and the dogs would be comfortable together. She has a lot of animal medical experience, and it was so reassuring to have someone who is knowledgeable, resourceful and caring. While we were gone, she gave me frequent updates and showed so much compassion and love towards them. Chelsea is reliable, clean and I am so thankful to have found her for our beloved dogs.
Chelsea has sat for our four legged family multiple times! She is very trustworthy, responsible and respectful of your home and critters! She sent us pictures and texts daily to update us how our fur babies were doing so we could enjoy some time away. It’s nice to be able to go on vacation and know your critters are well taken of back home. She’s always the first person I reach out to when we need a sitter!
Chelsea is our go-to pet sitter whenever we go away. She’s dependable and responsible and loves animals. We have 2 dogs, a 90lb lab Shepard mix and a 21 lb terrier mix, 4 cats and a hermit crab. She has taken great care of our pets when we’ve been away. At times she’s had to give them meds - antibiotics, ear meds etc. and Since I prefer to know all is going ok, she will call or text daily to let me know everyone is ok. I would definitely recommend her for anyone in need of pet setting/pet care. It also helps to know she is studying to be a vet tech, she works at a veterinarian clinic. And she volunteers at a cat rescue in the Thurmont area.

Due to my very small house and other animals I cannot provide in home pet sitting or boarding at this time. I can however come to you if you live relatively close by. I can provide walks, play time, feeding/watering, etc in a clients home instead.
Information Chelsea B. would like to know about your pet
The temperament of the animal is important. Please tell me about the specific pets likes and dislikes. Do they walk well on a leash? Are they food/toy aggressive with other animals or people? Reactive to handling/touching specific areas? This will help me keep them safe and get to know them. I also need to know if they have any medical concerns. Do they have seizures, asthma, incontinence, etc? If so please let me know more about any known medical needs they may have or if they need medication. An emergency contact number or plan in the event that something does happen is also very helpful.
A typical day
I love spending time with animals and can walk dogs on leash around the neighborhood, in the yard, or on the sidewalks near their home. Fetch, tug, and doggie puzzles are also some of my own dogs favorite past times and can be implemented for dogs that love to play. I can also take dogs on short hikes if the weather is nice, the dog is manageable on leash, and owner is okay with it. They would be local and with the dog always on a leash and or harness.
