Experienced with all breeds & sizes

Pet care experience

While working in a dog kennel and business for 5 years, I am very well trained in all sizes, breeds of dogs, and ages. As a daughter of a professional dog groomer of 30 years, I have grown up, trained, and handled almost all breeds of dogs, along with owning and training my own as well. You can trust me in knowing that your pet will be well taken care of and showered in love.

Chelse is the most affectionate and responsible caregiving I’ve ever had for my sweet puppy! She always keeps me updated on everything my Sadie does and constantly makes sure I’m involved in her fun day even when I’m not able to be with her! Sadie loves her walks and Chelse makes sure 100% she is safe and having a blast the entire time ! If you pick anyone to watch your pup let it be Chelse, you’ll never be disappointed!

Safety, trust & environment

My passion and love for animals is undeniable. As a mother and pet owner myself, safety is always a top priority, in which you can fully trust my presence within your home and around your animal/animals. Having timid, nervous or anxious dogs does not intimidate me as I feel confident in my ability to handle all dogs because I understand, sympathize and have been trained to do so.

Information Chelse G. would like to know about your pet

These are some important questions that will be asked as they are extremely important to know and be aware of. -Vet information (Name Address phone number) -What is the normal routine for the dog? ( When does the dog normally go for a walk? When do they feed the dog [morning, evenings, free feed?] How do they put the dog to bed at night?) -How long is the dog normally left alone or how long can you leave the dog alone for? -What are the house rules for the dog? ( Is he allowed on the couch? What rooms can he go into?) -What kind of commands does the dog know? ( sit, stay, come, off, no) -What are some bad habits the dog has and what they do to help fix it? -What kind of treats is ok for the dog? Is he allergic to any foods? -Really important if you take the dog out for a walk, is there anything that the dog is afraid of or will set him off? -Does the dog do anything that only the owner would understand; scratch the arm, whimper, bark , etc?

A typical day

Dogs are individuals, as are people. I would ask the owners what kinds of activities, games their dog enjoys, and go along with those. Walks, nice long walks in parks or trails or other pleasant places are always appreciated. Games, interactive play with toys, balls, even a stick are fun. Some dogs really enjoy chilling, watching TV while laying in/on your lap, being scratched and stroked. Some dogs love having their ears played with, others not so much. Some know and like doing tricks for praise and treats. Some dogs just love having someone talk to them! And many really enjoy going for rides in the car.

I am currently at home during the days. I do have a 5 year old son who does attend daycare, in which anything can surely happen. If that does, I will let you know immediately. I can be flexible to help with your pet's needs and your schedule if needed, please just send me a text so I can hopefully accommodate them.
