I love animals, of all kinds. I grew up with dogs and cats since I was a girl including a variety of mutts, shepherds, and hounds . More recently, Darwin, my beloved dog friend, was with us from the time he was a puppy into his senior years; therefore I am comfortable caring for dogs of a variety of ages and energy levels. As Darwin aged, his needs and capabilities changed and I am comfortable giving your dog what he or she needs at any stage of life to meet their emotional, physical and intellectual needs. Friends and family have asked that I care for their furry friends, and I have trained my sister's dog twice (sit, stay, come & stop whining in the car). I love playing with dogs, snuggling them, talking with them, walking them and generally being around them--they are remarkable beings. I have also spent my life with cats and respect their personalities and dispositions. Some like to socialize, others don't. I currently reside with a chatterbox named Evie, a playful 12 pound cat who enjoys chasing laser lights, and snuggling after dark.
