Pet care experience
I have experience with most small pets such as reptiles, amphibians, rodents, birds, dogs and cats and i love them all. I’m currently a vet tech at a vet here in norman and have been for about 2 years now. Before i got into the veterinary field i was actually one of the animal and aquatic care takers at a pet store here in norman. I’m well educated on a majority of animals that you’d have as a pet, not just cats and dogs. (:

Even though i’m not able to board your pets in my home, i’m able to take care of them in theirs. I have experience with the allergy babies (Onyx has the WORST) and i know how frustrating it can be when their diet is not taken seriously or they’re slipped a treat that they’re not supposed to have. I’m definitely not a professional groomer but i do have the capability to lug 80lbs of muscle into a bathtub for bath time when it’s needed (once every 21 days for mine unless he decides to roll in some mud). i also have ninja stealth when it comes to entering and exiting your home so that the escape artists aren’t able to do what they’re best at. Basically, i know how stressful it can be when a new sitter comes to meet and take care of your fur babies. I have been in those stressful situations and that’s just what it is. STRESSFUL! i want to make sure your mind is at ease and your pets (if you’re anything like me, they’re more like children than pets lol) are well taken care of and always accounted for. I will treat them like my own🫶🏻.

Before i sit a pet, there’s some information i need to know. Health issues? Currently coughing/sneezing/vomiting/diarrhea? Food/Environmental allergies or restrictions? Any spots they don’t like to be touched, or anything that makes them uncomfortable? Dog/Cat aggressive? Possessive of food/toys?
A typical day
Usually i’d love to take your fur baby to the dog park (if allowed) but since the k9 influenza and strep outbreak, let’s play it safe and stay close to home. Walks are always on the list of to do’s! Lots of play time as well!

Availability
I’m currently working full time at the vet hospital and only have a select few days off of work but i’m available all day on the days that i’m not working. If i’m not at work i’m usually at the dog park with Onyx (my 80lbs pitty) or at home cuddled up with Mooney and Precious (my kitties).
