I have a fenced in backyard. I have 3 dogs and a cat. The cat goes outside and will avoid the dogs because he's scared of them especially if they are new to him. He just sleeps when he is inside. If that's a problem with your dog I can let him outside as he will prefer it while they are there. I have 3 dogs. I have a Chihuahua, a Chiweenie, and a German Shepherd mix. My Chihuahua gets excited and barks at new dogs but usually calms down when she gets used to them. I have 3 empty bedrooms and crates so I can let her chill in one of them if she is being sassy. She's 4 now so she just will sleep on the bed and chill by herself if she's having a problem with the guests. She is fine with small dogs but feels threatened by big dogs. She doesn't do anything though. The prime example of all bark and no bite. Again I can separate them easily if it's a problem though. All of my animals can be separated since I have the space in my home to use. My babies love going on walks and I live next door to the track and the park. I can definitely have playtime with your furbaby and let them get rid of some energy. My husband is here as well so if I need to separate mine they can go hang with him.
