Your Pet's Other Best Friend!
Pet care experience
EXPERIENCE: I've been caring for and tending to the canine and feline friends for a long while now--pretty much since childhood. I've helped with all kinds of furry friends, felines, canines, fish, rabbit, guineas, Roombas (haha) etc. I've fed, watered, petted, hugged, administered meds, talk to and enjoyed all of it. I've watered plants, filled bird feeders, cleaned a few dishes, etc. BOARDING: I keep a safe and tidy environment, and two pups/dogs at a time maximum. The back yard is fully fenced and 5' feet high, and large enough for thorough running and playing. Dogs can roam freely through the house, and there is a special dog-pile room. Each paid boarding day or night is a 24 hour period, so if you drop off at 8am, for example, please be to prepared to pick up by 8am. Drop off time is flexible, morning, afternoon, or evening. If you need extra time or even a full day, you can add a day of daycare to your request or we can work something out. DAYCARE: Drop your pup off for the day, where they can play, run outside, or hang out on the couch. Typically daycare is an 8 hour day, although I can do evening care as well. DROP-INS: Most common requests are elderly canines, puppies, and kitty friends (multiple okay) drop-ins, which I love to do. Usually it involves feeding, water check, litter cleaning, and checking in with the aforementioned furry friend(s). For canine friends, I can let them out in the yard, spend time with them, food and treats as requested and water check, meds administered if needed. GENERAL POLICIES: Scheduled drop-in times - I try to work with schedules the best that I can. The reality is that when folks book, many people want similar times. The way that I handle this is, I request a 1-2 hour window. For example, if you usually feed kitties at 7:30am before you go to work, I might ask if I can come between 7:00-9:00am. However, if I can do it at 7:30, I definitely will. I haven't run into an issue yet! Cancelled / Added Visits - Just ask! I'll do my best to get you a refund if you need to cancel (note that this also depends on Rover's discretion), or if you need to add a visit, I'll do my best to get that booked as soon as possible. Extras - Many people ask me to do extras, such as water plants, pick up newspapers, fill feeders, etc. I'm happy to do that, so long as it's contained within my drop-in time. If it is something you want me to do in addition to the drop-in, no problem, just ask! We'll figure it out. Multiple Pets - The more the merrier! Please be sure to mention all the pets who will be in need of care or in the home at time of care, especially if they aren't listed on Rover. Caring and accounting for multiple creatures is a bit different than focusing on a single critter. Photos - I try my best to get photos of that awesome furry face. However, especially with cats, it can be challenging, and sometimes they aren't fond of being followed around for a photo. Their trust and comfort is my bigger concern, and if I don't get a good photo, I'm happy to send a message to you about their well-being.
Reviews
Chase is the best—he takes such great care of our cats when we are out of town and always sends great updates and fun photos. Total peace of mind!
Chase was so great with Maggie and kept me udpated throughout! We will definitely be using Chase again!
Pete's day with Chase seemed to go well and as expected. Pete was as happy and silly when we picked him up, as he was when we dropped him off. All good.
Chase takes such good care of our two cats! He sends us the most artistic pictures of them with each visit. It makes it a bit easier to be away from them. ❤️
